Day 1 to 3 - England

Okay, all my work are about 85% completed. So I better start blogging bout the whole vacation before I forget at all what I've done. I think i left out some things as well ahaha=P

22nd July

Grandpa dropped Mum, Grandma and I to the Penang Airport. Then soon it was about time to board the plane to KL and arrived safely at KLIA, of course. Patience really is a virtue ,I thought when I was there cause I had to wait for 5 hours before the flight to Dubai. *shakes head*

Penang Airport.

In the meantime, read Twilight.
The book that was so good according to so many.
I don't like the fact that Edward's a vampire
but he is freaking sweeeet nevertheless.

Last meal in Malaysia so of course it
had to be something from here ;)

After the very oh-so-dreadful-long wait, I finally got to the plane; Fly Emirates! Watched Step Up 2, slept a little, continued reading Twilight and soon I was at Dubai.

Dubai Airport. Then, we flew to Manchester!
Upon arrival, saw my beloved bro for the first time after a year plus!!

Headed to his rented apartment to freshen up.
I like it there; really pretty.

Energy restored after a warm bath so where to?
Out visiting Manchester of course ;)

One of those churches I guess.

Manchester's very own China Town
and there is where we had our first meal.
Haha. Funny to think of it..Go England, eat Chinese food.
What a faithful Chinese!

Went around here and there then..
Bro : Ehhh.. forgot to ask if you wanna go see Old Trafford.
Me : Omg yess! I forgot bout it.
Bro : *Checks the time* Oh it's close by now. Nvm la tmr can go.
Me : Kay good.

At the end of my stay at Manchester, he told me.. NOT ENOUGH TIME.
Grrr. So that was how I lost my opportunity to see it.
Nevermind, next time next time.

23rd July

Anyway, the next day was Brother Tan's convocation. (which was the main reason of this whole trip) Woke up early and got ready cause we had to take the train to Sheffield.

While getting ready, a lil pictures won't hurt.
But I was the first to be ready anyway.

While waiting for the cab to bring us to the train station.

Okay, all the way to Sheffield now.
Journey of about an hour.

@ University of Sheffield.

Congratulations on your graduation!
Next up, time to fill our empty stomachs.
Guess where bro took us to..
Italian food; something I'm not really fond of.

Tadaa. The food we ordered.
Looks good huh? I didn't like it.
The pizza was good though.
Around the place we had lunch was a place with lots and lots of shops.
So of course we started shopping.
Can't buy much cause whenever I see the price I'll have to times it by 7..
and then kepala pusing so quickly put it back.
While we were walking back to the train station,
we came across this very interesting house.
It's a house filled w/ plants to show the Green House Effect.
How the heat is able to come in and not go out?
Yeah, something like that.

That's what I'm talking bout.

With mummy in that house.

And this is just a random picture from Sheffield.
I think it's a really nice place.
Better than Manchester to me.
Relaxing lifestyle w/ friendly people around.
Went back to bro's apartment and fell straight asleep.
Forgot completely about dinner.
Then at 12am, I woke up and he was telling me
there's a restaurant nearby that gives 30% discount after 12am.
So the hungry me thought it was just perfect.
Unfortunately, when he says nearby he doesn't mean it.
Still, I walked w/ him all the way to the restaurant.
But I didn't mind cause get to makan fried rice. :D:D

24th July

GOODBYE MANCHESTER, HELLO LONDON!

Yep, train station again.
This time it took 2 hours plus.
Reached London, checked in then time for lunch.
Ended up in a shop called Wagamama.

While waiting for the food..

and here it comes..
My RM 50 lunch; noodles in soup w/ chicken meat.

I just know it's some famous ship.
Didn't read the rest.
Walked to Tower of London after that.

A very, very big place.
Too bad I didn't have a chance to go inside.
Must be really cool I guess.
Walked around nearby until it was time to join the cruise.

HMS Belfare.

Don't know what's this but its a view from the cruise I was in.
The shape of the building is kinda cute isn't it? Haha.

Tower Bridge.

London Eye.

House of Parliaments.
Is ours or theirs better? Lol.
Along the journey, there were plenty of beautiful bridges.
After the cruise, it was time to go sit the London Eye.
Collected the ticket which bro booked online.

Really, really impressed w/ this whole thing.
So high up okay..

While waiting for the capsules to come.

and this is the one we got into.
I was so excited then.

I forgot what's the name of this bridge already.
Millenium Bridge if I'm not wrong.
Hmm I think I'm wrong though.

Big Ben & House of Parliaments at the back.

Adorable isn't she? ;)
Makes me smile looking at her smile.

At the highest point.. Weee*

I like this picture best.
With the sun behind..
Then after the ride, we just walked around the place till it was time for dinner.

Famous Italian singer says bro who had just passed away.
Wonder if he is right cause he sounded like he was joking.
I myself thought it was just a plain statue.
And I found some interesting pictures in the place where they sold tickets for London Eye..

See.. The process of building the London Eye!
& the product.
So professional and now they are earning like mad w/ this thing..
By charging so much from innocent people like me.

Westminster Abbey.

Okay, time for dinner. Took a tube to Bayswater for the
renown Four Seasons Restaurant.
Bro told me there are fake Four Seasons in London too.
They tried to copy and fool people into their non-genuine restaurants.

This is the original. Haha.
Famous for its roast duck which was totally delicious.
Still remember eating lots of rice that night.

And this was the last picture of that day while at the station.
Looks like one of those from Harry Porter, don't you think?

That's about it for Day 1 to 3. The rest are to be continued..
