Surprised Holiday

Extra hols on Tues biggrin
Went out with Nana, to Gurney.
Picked her around 1 and I realised there was something different with her hair!
True enough, she cut her own fringe. Tell me I'm observant. lol
Kept arguing about the movie we were gonna watch cause this girl
wanted to watch The Strangers so badly.
And I obviously didn't wanna watch that thriller/horror cause I was scared lah.
She gave in at last, we watched Wall-E.
Lunch at Kim Gary.

Lemon honey + Noodles with minced pork

After lunch, we went Popular for stationery shopping,
mainly to replace everything following the mysterious loss of Nana's pencil case in Arun's class.
Seriously, it vanished just like that.
She was positive she brought it to tuition, but it was gone forever after looking everywhere for it.
Next was MPH. Nana wanted to buy The Host by Stephenie Meyer.
Checked the price then left to Parkson, cause she had THIS ( below)RM 100 voucher and she was just saying how nice if she can trade these vouchers for the book.
All of a sudden, we came up with this idea to sell these vouchers for RM 90.
Straight to one of the counters we went.
Approached an aunty who said she was buying 100 over but signing card.
First Attempt : FAILED.
Next, I asked one man whom we saw was about to pay for a pair of Alain Delon shoes.
Guess what? He told us it did not exceed RM 100.
I didn't know Alain Delon shoes were that cheap. Haha.
Anything lah, Second Attempt : FAILED.
Stood at the counter for quite some time and then we saw this Chinese-looking lady.
And saw her taking out RM 130!
Paying by cash + exceeds RM 100 = BINGO!
Walked to her and asked then she replied in Mandarin that she didn't understand.
And luckily my effort of learning Mandarin when I was in Std.1 weren't wasted just like that.
It's broken Mandarin but still she could understand. So she agreed to buy it from us.
She was Japanese though, not Chinese. Talked to her while waiting for her to pay and there were a couple of times she used words I didn't understand. redface
Told her I didn't understand and that I haven't spoken Mandarin for a long time already and she started laughing. All of us did. Nana the loudest, as usual. Haha.
The best part was she offered us RM 100! razzNana sort of rewarded me RM 5 for the successful job. Lol.
So anyway, now she finally get to buy her book! & look what she got in return.
2 vouchers gone, another to come. mrgreenIt's been a long time since I wanted a proper comb, bought it at last.
It's handmade, it's comfortable, it's good..
and it made me RM 45 poorer. neutral

Anyway, I'm going to add one question & answer in every post.
All from the book I just received.
Let us all improve our general knowledge (though I'm not really sure how true the answers are).

How many people are having sex in the world right now?
Around 6 million couples in the world are having sex right now. 240 million people will have sex today : that's 4% of the entire world's population.
